The Megabass GH51 Humpback is a 2 inch, 0.18 ounce (~5 grams or just under 1/5 ounce) ultralight hard bait for trout and other species targeted with finesse hard baits. The GH51 Humpback is from Megabass’s JDM sub-brand of trout lures called Great Hunting. The lure is tail-weighted and has a fast sinking buoyancy, which, in concert with the tall profile of the lure, creates a wriggling, falling action that draws strikes from even tight-lipped gamefish.

The lure is designed primarily for stable retrieves both with and against the current, anglers can also add variety to their presentation with twitches and jerks to imitate a fleeing baitfish and attract reaction bites from lunker trout and other freshwater trophies that should know better. When used in swift current and deeper pools, these lures show their true power by reaching depth quicker than conventional minnows and tracking true through current.
